To all  the guys in CONTRABAND - I would love to say just  a huge THANK YOU  for playing at our wedding on 14th February, 2010.We found out about you via your web site so we knew you played wonderful swing and rat pack songs, but did not realise what a fantastic presence you would have at the celebratrions. You created a perfect atmosphere, initially by playing songs for the children to dance or join in with, and then later playedsuch a perfect combination of music that most couples enjoyed a smoochy dance without a second thought! Thank you once again,, i hope we have another party so we get to see all you guys again.

"I just wanted to thank you, Vicky and the other band members for helping to make my party at Barley Hall in York on Saturday such a huge success!   Everyone thought you played brilliantly and that you were very professional. Vicky has a fabulous voice and the music was exactly what I wanted for the occasion and the venue. You helped create the perfect atmosphere to get everyone up and dancing, which was fantastic.

Your flexibility and ability to play requests is a real asset and reflects on the individual talents of the band members and your abiliy to work together so well. I would second a comment from one of your earlier reviews in that I was really relieved and so lucky that a band I had just picked off the internet turned out to be so professional, pleasant and frankly exactly what I wanted. I can't thank you enough and I'm so pleased I found you.

I'm on a charity committee and I'm sure that we will want to use you at a future fundraising event. I just hope you won't be booked up!

Thanks so much for your email. I'm glad you all enjoyed playing at the party. We all had a great time and I have had so much feedback about how everyone loved the music. I was so relaxing to have you playing because the music just flowed and I could tell everyone was really happy listening. I would love to see you play again so if you do any gigs that aren't private events, please can you you email me to let me know? I could listen to you all for hours. I thought you played my requests really well. I have recommended you to a colleague at work who is getting married next year so keep  your fingers crossed. On behalf of everyone at the station, I would likie to thank you all for giving your time to provide such wonderful entertainment on Sunday. The music sounded fantastic and was appreciated by all who were there.

I hope you will consider doing another session for us sometime soon. Offering a monthly Sunday Jazz Session would be another great asset to what's already on offer in the buildiong.
Hopefully it was a good way for your to get yourself known and will lead to other bookings.

I look forward to hearing from Vicky and Andy with regards to helping us run some singing and music workshops in the Easter school holidays.

Thank you so much for bringing your trio to play for our reception - the music was absolutely perfect, and gave just the right atmosphere for the afternoon, I heard at least four or 5 comments from the other guests complimenting the choice of music. you played all four of my requests too, which I was really pleased about.
