Thank you for visiting Contraband Music. We are a Flexible and Versatile band of musicians Featuring male and/or female vocals, Violin, Guitar, Piano, Double Bass and Drums, We can work in any combination from Male Vocal Solo  to Instrumental Trio, Gypsy Swing Trio, Male vocal Quartet to the Vicky Wadsworth with Contraband Quintet

We cover a large range music and songs from popular songs from the last 6 decades up to the present day. Each song is given our own special treatment, adapted to our own unique instrumentation and style, yet still retaining it's original charm and appeal.

We are based across NorthYorkshire, Co. Durham and Cumbria, and travel to play regularly over Yorkshire, Co. Durham, Tyneside, Cumbria, Teeside, Lancashire, and Greater Manchester.  We have played Festivals, Hotels, Weddings, Village Halls, Corporate Events and Pubs.  We are prepared to travel to most places to play for you.

With a wealth of experience playing at high quality events across the country, we are completely flexible with regard to our line-up, set lists, dress code, special requests and playing times. We will do our utmost to ensure the musical side of your event is a complete success and enjoyed by all.  Whether you are looking for a solo violin to play around the tables, solo piano, a boy/girl duo, an instrumental trio or with "rat pack" style male vocals, through to the glorious sound of the full 5 piece band - there is plenty to choose from and something  available to fit your venue, event and budget.
